Project Description

The Coastal Management High School Study Guide is an educational resource that targets Australian curriculum areas of Physical Sciences, Human Society and its Environment (HSIE), Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences and Maths for Years 7–10.

A collaboration between UNSW Sydney, the NSW Office of Environment & Heritage and Refraction Media, the guide is designed to assist high school teachers to engage students in the complex issue of coastal management in Australia.

It will encourage students to explore issues in their locality and related themes including the risks to Australian beaches and researching coastal change.
